A Spanish agency became so sick of models and influencers that they created their own with AI—and she’s raking in up to $11,000 a month

With earnings averaging €3,000 per month and peaking at €10,000 on one occasion, Aitana's income primarily comes from social media ads. She's even an ambassador for a sports supplement brand. Interestingly, her convincing persona led a famous Latin actor to ask her out on a date!

Aitana isn't alone in this AI revolution. Lu do Magalu from Brazil has a staggering 6.6 million followers, and Lil Miquela, a 23-year-old robot from LA, has 2.7 million followers. These AI models are increasingly blurring the lines between digital and human, captivating audiences worldwide.

The AI trend extends beyond modeling. Caryn Marjorie, a 23-year-old influencer, created an AI version of herself, CarynAI, serving as a virtual girlfriend to 1,000 men. This initiative aims to provide companionship in a secure, encrypted environment, especially for those who felt isolated during the pandemic. However, the project faced challenges when the bot began engaging in unexpected conversations, highlighting the ethical and control issues in AI technology.

Inflection AI releases new AI model, claims it can beat Meta and Google’s models

Inflection has announced the completion of Inflection-2, a highly advanced language model that ranks as the second most capable globally and the best in its compute class. This model is an upgrade from Inflection-1, featuring enhanced factual knowledge, stylistic control, and reasoning capabilities.

The development of Inflection-2 emphasizes serving efficiency, soon to be implemented in powering Pi, their AI platform. The transition to H100 GPUs and optimized inference implementation has allowed for reduced costs and increased service speed, despite Inflection-2's larger size compared to its predecessor.

In terms of performance, Inflection-2 has been benchmarked against other leading models like LLaMA-2, Grok-1, PaLM-2, Claude-2, and GPT-4. The benchmarks include a variety of tasks, with Inflection-2 showing superior performance in many, especially in the MMLU (5-shot) test, where it excels in a range of tasks from high school to professional level, outperforming several other models including Claude 2.
